Career Coordinator
RCAL is now hiring a Career Coordinator to support individuals with disabilities find and maintain employment. A valid NYS driver's license is required. Our Career Coordinators work in a variety of programs that strengthen a person’s skills and guide them through the career development process.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is looking for a rewarding job in the human services field. All interested candidates must have experience supporting people with disabilities; a college degree is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates Degree or higher with a minimum of one year of experience providing vocational or prevocational training to people with disabilities. Or, training in providing vocational rehabilitation services and two years of practical experience working with people with disabilities.

Career Coordinators are expected to be part of a positive team supporting people with disabilities to find and maintain careers. All Career Coordinators are expected to be creative, persuasive, and have strong interpersonal skills. Must be highly motivated as well as empathetic and have a willingness to work collectively with staff and management to achieve this mission.

Career Coordinators must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour
Part Time Respite Provider
Respite is a service that provides relief to family members who are responsible for the primary care and support of an individual with a developmental disability. RCAL is seeking caring providers to spend time with wonderful individuals in a one on one environment at the individual's home.

Part-Time Community Habilitation Support Staff
Community Habilitation is a service which provides experience and skill development to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities who live at home, in order that they may live more independently.

Nursing Home Transition Diversion Service Coordinator
RCAL is seeking a full-time NHTD/TBI/Health Homes Program Coordinator.
A valid NYS driver's license is required. Qualifications are a Bachelor's Degree in a human services related field with 2 years experience providing service coordination for individuals with disabilities and/or seniors, and knowledge of community resources. Possible qualifying fields are: Registered Professional Nurse, Certified Special Education Teacher, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, or Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
The ideal candidate will possess a knowledge of disability rights, TBI, HCBS Waiver and related services; and have outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.
