2026 Disability Awareness Parade
Join us for RCAL’s 4th Annual Disability Awareness Parade on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11 a.m. as we come together to celebrate disability pride, visibility, and community. The parade will step off from the municipal lot at Frank Guido’s Little Italy on Thomas Street, traveling down Kingston’s vibrant Broadway corridor before finishing at Keegan Ales, 20 James Street.
This uplifting event highlights the voices, talents, and experiences of people with disabilities while bringing our community together in a powerful show of unity, inclusion, and respect.
Following the parade, the celebration continues with a Resource Fair at Keegan Ales until 2 p.m., featuring a bounce house, children’s activities, music, food, and tables from local organizations sharing valuable resources and information. As the only event of its kind in New York State, this day offers a meaningful opportunity to celebrate accessibility, independence, and community connection. All are welcome—come march, celebrate, and be part of something special!
Non-profit agencies serving individuals with disabilities who are interested in reserving a table at the Resource Fair are invited to call (845) 331-0541 ext. 12.
