Joan Gundersen Endowment Fund
RCAL currently maintains (through the Ulster Community Foundation) the Joan Gundersen Endowment Fund, named after our recently retired founder. This fund is used to assure long term financial stability to allow RCAL to continue to provide quality services to consumers in our region.
The census in Ulster County is growing, but State money for Independent Living Centers is not. RCAL seeks additional revenue sources to meet the needs of the growing population in Ulster County.
The Endowment Fund provides a chance for you to help support RCAL.
You can become a “friend of RCAL” by giving a cash gift or check, and together we can keep “opening doors” for the persons with disabilities in our community.
Contact us if you would like information about planned giving, United Way donations or employer-matched donations.
Remember, RCAL, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization and your gift is TAX-DEDUCTIBLE.
The contributions will go into the endowment Fund and used solely for program development and support, not administrative costs.
Levels of Participation are:
- Donor $10-$99
- Associate $100-$249
- Patron $250-$499
- Sponsor $500-$999
- Benefactor $1,000-$4,999
