That All May Worship is an all faith conference designed to heighten awareness and encourage religious communities to be more welcoming and accessible to the full participation of people with disabilities.
Also, HRC Journey Invites you to ODYSSEY a ministry meeting the on-going needs of people with disabilities and their families. Electric Wheelchair List and/or Donation RCAL keeps a list for people who are interested in obtaining free but used electric wheelchairs. We only have equipment when a wheelchair or scooter is donated to our agency. If you are in need of a scooter or electric wheelchair and can't afford one, please give RCAL a call at 331-0541 to be put on "the list". We cannot guarantee the condition of the equipment. They are provided to us "as is" and we simply pass them through. Please be aware that power equipment is heavy and hard to transport. Also, many chairs have weight limits. RCAL does not necessarily have instructions regarding safe use and transportation. Instructions can sometimes be obtained from local vendors or from the internet. RCAL cannot evaluate a piece of equipment's appropriateness for use, nor a person's ability to use power equipment. If you are a person who has a chair or scooter sitting in the closet or garage collecting dust, give us a call and you can donate your used equipment and it is tax deductible! ©1983-2008 Resource Center for Accessible Living, Inc.
