Service Coordination supports people with developmental disabilities in identifying and obtaining supports and services through choice and self-determination. Service Coordination also provides oversight for any health issues. RCAL's Medicaid Service Coordinators are experts on community services, resources and entitlement programs. RCAL provides Medicaid Service Coordination to people with developmental disabilities, including mental retardation, autism spectrum disorders, Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy and other neurological impairments. To be eligible for Medicaid Service Coordination services, one must have a documented developmental disability occurring before the age of 22 and be Medicaid eligible. Application for Medicaid Service Coordination can be initiated by calling RCAL at (845) 331-0541 or by calling the Taconic DDSO at (845) 382-1899 (ask for Intake). You can also e-mail our Medicaid Service Coordinator Supervisor Suzanne de Beaumont at sdebeaumont@rcal.org if you have any questions. We invite you to join us in "Opening the Doors of Opportunity."
