RCAL Employee Graduates From Bard College Clemente Course

Marge Knox, an employee here at RCAL has graduated from the Bard College Clemente Course. Below is a brief description of her experience during the class. You can also click here to view the video of her graduation or click here to view pictures. We are all so very proud of Marge!

“As you can see this was a very special day for me and my family.  This was one of the best days of my life, to have my family, my children, grandchildren and great grandson attend my graduation from Bard College.

I had an awesome experience in the Clemente class. The classes were held at the Kingston Library which was perfect for me because I live in the neighborhood.  The class was small with a world of diversity between the people who made up the class.  The subject material was over the top, from Socrates to Decartes and Tolstoy. The way in which each professor taught, made learning difficult material easy. I had fun, I was stretched and encouraged and made to feel my opinion was worth something.  It was a wonderful experience and I am a better person because I was able to take advantage of this great opportunity. It was life changing for me and I plan to further my education as a result.”
